Vishwa Hindu Kalyan Foundation handed over a cheque of Rs 25,000 to a cancer-stricken woman
Correspondence, Jagaran, Das (Hazaribagh):
Setting an example of social service, the Vishwa Hindu Kalyan Foundation provided financial assistance of Rs 25,000 to Kiran Devi, a resident of Bakkritih, for cancer treatment. Kiran Devi has been suffering from a serious illness for a long time, and her family is going through financial hardship. The matter reached the organization through journalists after an appeal for help, following which the organization became active. It is noteworthy that under the direction of the organization's Chief Executive, Baijnath Sao, Block Secretary Sarita Devi reached the victim's home, inquired about their well-being, and handed over the cheque for the assistance amount. Prior to this, the organization had already given a cheque of Rs 11,000 and Rs 3,000 in cash. In this way, a total of Rs 39,000 has been provided as aid by the organization. Expressing gratitude towards the organization, the family said that with this support, it will be possible to continue the treatment.
Stories like that of Kiran Devi remind us that the battle against cancer is not just physical, but also financial and emotional. While the Vishwa Hindu Kalyan Foundation has stepped forward to help, the road to recovery is long, and every little contribution can make a big difference.
